O d\u00f3lar fechou com alta nesta quarta-feira (8), com investidores em busca de prote\u00e7\u00e3o antes da decis\u00e3o do Comit\u00ea de Pol\u00edtica Monet\u00e1ria (Copom) sobre juros. A maioria do mercado aposta na redu\u00e7\u00e3o do ritmo de afrouxamento monet\u00e1rio para um corte de 0,25 ponto percentual, ante 0,50 ponto das \u00faltimas reuni\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qual a cota\u00e7\u00e3o do d\u00f3lar hoje?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

O d\u00f3lar \u00e0 vista subiu 0,47%, a R$ 5,090 na compra e R$ 5,091 na venda. \u00c0s 17h40 (hor\u00e1rio de Bras\u00edlia), o contrato de d\u00f3lar futuro de primeiro vencimento avan\u00e7ava 0,20%, equivalente a 5.096 pontos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Banco Central realizou neste preg\u00e3o leil\u00e3o de at\u00e9 12 mil contratos de swap cambial tradicional para fins de rolagem do vencimento de 1\u00b0 de julho de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O que acontece com o d\u00f3lar hoje?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A ampla expectativa em torno da decis\u00e3o sobre juros no Brasil, prevista para o in\u00edcio da noite, permeou os neg\u00f3cios durante todo o dia. No mercado de DIs (Dep\u00f3sitos Interfinanceiros), a maioria dos investidores se posicionou no sentido de que o colegiado cortar\u00e1 a Selic em apenas 25 pontos-base, mas as apostas em 50 pontos-base de corte n\u00e3o eram desprez\u00edveis. Atualmente a Selic est\u00e1 em 10,75% ao ano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Em meio \u00e0s d\u00favidas, parte dos investidores preferiu elevar posi\u00e7\u00f5es compradas no d\u00f3lar (no sentido de alta das cota\u00e7\u00f5es) antes da decis\u00e3o do Copom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTemos aqui o fator de prote\u00e7\u00e3o antes do Copom. Se o Banco Central cortar a Selic em 50 pontos-base, isso acaba por apoiar o d\u00f3lar, mas se o corte for de 25 pontos-base a press\u00e3o de alta ameniza um pouco\u201d, comentou durante a tarde Jefferson Rugik, diretor da Correparti Corretora. \u201cMuita gente prefere a prote\u00e7\u00e3o do d\u00f3lar para esperar (a decis\u00e3o).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al\u00e9m da expectativa pelo Copom, o d\u00f3lar ganhava suporte do exterior, onde a divisa americana tinha ganhos firmes ante moedas fortes e em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 maior parte das moedas de exportadores de commodities e emergentes. Os rendimentos dos Treasuries tamb\u00e9m subiam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
